Summary

Flooring upgrades often start with more than picking a new material. In this Palm Coast home, we tackled an LVP installation that required careful subfloor preparation and custom trim solutions to get everything just right. The project included working around existing fixtures and finishes without disturbing the rest of the house.

The Work

Moved light furniture and protected surfaces before starting
Scraped, swept, and skim coated the tile subfloor to create a smooth base for LVP
Installed luxury vinyl plank flooring across living areas, kitchen, and select bedrooms
Custom-fit quarter round, transition moldings, and new carpet in two rooms
Raised vanities and toilets as needed to accommodate new flooring
Matched caulk and trim for a seamless finish

The Outcome

The new LVP floors brought warmth and a modern look to the main living spaces. Careful prep meant the finished surfaces feel even underfoot, and the details around transitions and fixtures keep the space looking clean throughout. The home feels refreshed and ready for daily living.
